AEM Appoints Chief Technology Officer

Singapore, 24 August 2020 – AEM Holdings Ltd (“AEM” or “the Group”), a global leader offering application-specific, intelligent system test and handling solutions, today announced that industry veteran, Samer Kabbani, is joining AEM as its chief technology officer on August 25th , 2020.

In this role, Kabbani will lead the development and organization of AEM’s overall technology strategy, while working closely with the CEO to implement AEM’s strategic objectives and technology advancement.

Kabbani brings more than 20 years of experience in the semiconductor capital equipment industry. He has extensive experience leading technology M&A, innovation and product development, business strategies development and implementation, and competitive strategy. Before joining AEM, Kabbani served as Executive Vice President at Advantest and Astronics Test Systems, respectively. In his 14-year tenure at Cohu, Kabbani also served in key senior management roles, including president of Delta Design Systems.

Kabbani is a prolific innovator with more than 20 registered patents in areas of advanced thermal management, photoresist processing, factory automation, and vision alignment and inspection.
